Programs
We have a house league for the recreational player on Monday
evenings. There is a nominal fee to pay for the cost of tennis balls. The club has drop-in
Round Robin
on Sunday mornings, 9:30 - 11:30 and Wednesday evenings, 7:00 - 9:00. The round robins are free of charge.
This year we have four teams in the
Inter-county Tennis Association (ICTA) and a team in the North York
Tennis Association (NYTA), playing competitive
tennis against other teams in the Greater Toronto Region. The
ITCA teams are mixed 'A', 'B' and 'C' teams and a Ladies 'A' team.
We also have a Ladies 'A' team in NYTA.
Our popular annual Club
Tournament is held late in August. Members are encouraged to
sign up for doubles and singles competition.
Our Pro, Ivan Rubenchik offers Group
and Private lessons for all juniors and adults in May. Ivan
is an experienced tennis professional and a certified Tennis Canada
coach. He has the expertise to teach the basic beginner through to
junior ranked competitors. In addition to four years at German
Mills, he has 17 years of coaching experience at the Mayfair
Racquets and Fitness Club. Ivan can be reached at

Facilities
GMTC has four outdoor hard courts available for
registered members. One of these courts may be in use for lessons
at particular times, the other three courts are available for play
when no organized events are being held. Look at the Schedule
for more details as to when the courts are available for play.
We also have full lighting for night time play, nearby parking and
a clubhouse with washroom facilities.
